Amy Lytle has served as the Executive Director of HandsOn NWNC since its founding 16 years ago. HandsOn NWNC mobilizes people and organizations that inspire community change, working with more than 500 different nonprofits in Forsyth, Surry, Stokes, Davie, Davidson, Yadkin, and Iredell counties and engaging thousands of volunteers a year in service across that network. With more than twenty-five years of experience in the field of civic engagement, philanthropy, and volunteerism, Amy has developed and presented workshops locally, nationally, and internationally on a variety of nonprofit management and civic, corporate, and volunteer engagement topics. She has a BA from Guilford College, is a graduate of Duke University’s nonprofit certificate program, and is a former president of the NC Association of Volunteer Administrators. As a volunteer herself, Amy serves with a variety of local and national groups. She is excited and honored to be co-presenting with fellow members of the NC Center’s recent Executive Leadership Anti-Racism Cohort.
