In 2014, Jennifer returned to her beloved university town of Chapel Hill and assumed the role as Director of Development with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. A Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Jennifer now serves as the organization’s President and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Jennifer oversaw the successful completion of one of the first senior Habitat communities in the country, Crescent Magnolia, which won an award of excellence in 2020 from the NC Housing Finance Agency. Jennifer is now leading the efforts of the largest capital campaign in the organization’s history as the affiliate works towards the creation of Weavers Grove, a large scale, innovative, mixed income neighborhood.
