Valeska Redmond joined First Citizens Bank as Philanthropic and Charitable Strategist in 2023 after spending close to two decades in the nonprofit and higher education sectors. She has extensive experience in fundraising, marketing, strategic planning, board development and governance, as well as annual and capital campaigns. She also taught courses on the undergraduate and graduate levels at North Carolina State University, Duke University, and William Peace University. Valeska holds a Ph.D. in Communications, Rhetoric, and Digital Media from North Carolina State University. At First Citizens Bank, Valeska works closely with nonprofit clients helping them maximize their impact on their communities.
