Candice joined The Cannon Foundation as a program officer in 2019. Before joining the team at The Cannon Foundation, she worked at Wingate University in Advancement. Candice earned her undergraduate degree from Wingate University. As a program officer, she primarily supports the three trusts that are managed within the Cannon Charitable Interests. This role is a reminder that the best work is found when connecting with grantees where they are and helping them see grantmakers as vital partners in their organizations’ mission. She is a North Carolina native and lives in Monroe with her husband and two sons, Elijah and Luke.
