Meghan Manfra

Meghan Manfra, Ph.D., is a Professor at NC State University and the founder of Action in Professional Learning (APL), a consulting firm dedicated to helping mission-driven organizations achieve measurable impact. She brings over two decades of expertise in program evaluation, action research, and strategic planning, with a track record of leading federally funded initiatives supported by the NSF, Spencer Foundation, and Library of Congress. Through her Assess–Plan–Learn framework, she equips nonprofits, schools, and foundations with evidence-based tools to drive meaningful and equitable change. A nationally recognized speaker and author of three books and more than 50 publications, she has shaped the fields of media literacy, reflective practice, and responsible technology integration.
