As the Director of Learning, Research, and Evaluation at the John Rex Endowment (JRE), Gladys supports grantees on their current grants, and refines and implements internal and external learning practices to gauge the impact of grantmaking and other foundation efforts by using philanthropic landscape trends for evaluation purposes. Prior to her time at JRE, Gladys worked as a civil rights and African American history researcher, and a Program Officer at the Harvest Foundation of the Piedmont in Martinsville, VA.
