Charitable nonprofits are required to comply with a wide array of federal and state laws and regulations. During this workshop for nonprofit staff and board members as well as attorneys, CPAs, and consultants, get answers and information on many common legal issues that affect nonprofits. The first hour will offer a crash course on key legal compliance issues for nonprofits, and breakout sessions will go into more depth on specific topics. Presenters will also offer non-answers to participants’ legal questions to wrap up the workshop.

As time allows, presenters also will share information about common legal questions that nonprofits have asked them and provide insights into new legal developments that are relevant for nonprofits but may not have been explored in other parts of today’s workshop.
